The Rough Draught

How can you not fall immediately in love with an eatery that welcomes you into their establishment with a glass case full of doughnuts and pastries? The Rough Draught has landed in the Fenton Cornerstone ablaze with a solid menu and rave diner reviews, but this is only the beginning of what they have in store.

Owned and operated by the creators of the cities old Café Aroma, this restaurant took the small town charm and great eats that they were known for and elevated their gamete a charming breakfast, lunch and dinner hotspot with an old industrial downtown look. Why mess with 10years of success and move to a new location with a new name? Local husband and wife team Andrew and Stephanie Evans had maxed out in their old space and had big dreams for the future of their business. Their love of the business and attention to detail are not lost on this new venture. Complete with artwork by a local tattoo artist, a craft cocktail list developed by their very own in house mixologist, and a featured draft list rotating every week, you will not be disappointed with what they have to offer. This lively corner-spot restaurant & bar offers breakfast and lunch all-day, and is also about to launch their dinner menu that will be available daily from 4 p.m. on. Stop into try our personal dinner favorite; the delicious new pork belly sliders made with peach chipotle glaze, topped with homemade coleslaw, on a brioche roll or one of the other tasty items they have planned. Behind the bar, besides the espresso, bartenders will serve an array of classic cocktails from The Presidents list or our select handcrafted cocktails on The Signature Cocktail list developed by head bartender David Martinez, including some that will be coffee-infused or coffee-inspired. Check out their monthly Tap Takeover Events or the Woodberry Wine Takeover happening in June. They will be participating in ladies night this month, if you are out on the town May 1st drop in for drink specials and live music or for the live music every Saturday night.
