programs for families since 1915, Camp is celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2015. The goal for this centennial year is a special emphasis on providing families valuable time together in the out-of-doors. Following the tried and true “Families who play together, stay together!” , Camp Copneconic strives to provide families with outdoor experiences that are completely all-inclusive and full of adventure, allowing the parents to relax, let their guard down, and simply be big kids. With so many kids used to see their parents in their day to day schedules, children absolutely love seeing their parents in this different light. Whether its 25-feet in the trees on high ropes, or riding a horse, family camp programming is always full of natural laughter and lots of love.

Good ‘Ole’ Summer Time Family Camp –August 21st – 23rd, 2015. With 100 years of camping, one tradition we love to share is our Family Camp experience. Family Camp is packed with choices like waterslide, aqua jump, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, high adventure, and more! Families enjoy getting to know
other families, but more than anything they enjoy the special bonding experiences with each other. The start of this program was inspired by a father and son relationship at Camp Copneconic in the 1930s where in front of all their friends, said to each other at a campfire, “Pals Forever.” Today, camp’s family activities are programmed with an intentional focus on strengthening relationships and simply having fun together in the out-of-doors. Whether it’s catching a huge bass, or cooking that perfect s’more, or tandem kayaking on Lake Copneconic, this weekend will be remembered for a lifetime!
Daddy & Daughter Adventure Camp – October 9th – 11th, 2015. Relationships with dads and their daughters are one of a kind! New for 2015, special times will be had between a daughter and her father, like horseback riding, kayaking, mountain biking, camp crafts, and hanging around the campfire cooking s’mores. This weekend will for certain be talked about for years to come.
