Summer Concert Series in Fenton and Linden!

Music makes life better – especially live music in Fenton and Linden.  The summer concert series in Fenton and Linden is packed full of great bands this year –  sure to keep folks dancing and enjoying the hometown charm of each community.The Fenton Concert Series kickes off the summer on Friday, June 3rd. This year, the Fenton Kick-Off Concert will be performed by the Fenton Orchestra at Rackham park, behind the Fenton Community & Cultural Center.  The concert will begin at 7pm.   (Rainoutlocation will be at the Fenton United Methodist Church). The Fenton Concert Series will continue all summer long on Thursday nights at the Fenton Millpond Gazebo.  Concerts begin at 7pm.   The final summer concert in Fenton will be on August 25th.  TJ Thomas and the Kentucky Straits will wrap up the fun for Summer 2016.  In the event of inclement weather during the Fenton Concert Series, the concert will move indoors to the Fenton Community & Cultural Center.Linden’s Music by the Mill celebrates their kick off with the Jump Street Swing Band on Memorial Day.  It is a great celebration honoring our military heroes with our friends in the community of Linden.Music by the Mill continues beginning August 3rd.  The American Bushwackers will be performing a great concert that night – one you don’t want to miss!  Music by the Mill takes place August 3rd through August 31st  on Wednesdays at 7pm.   The concerts begin at 7pm at the Linden Mill Pond.  In the event of inclement weather, the music moves indoors to the Linden VFW Hall.The concerts are brought to you by Southern Lakes Parks & Recreation.  The Fenton Concerts are sponsored by the Fenton DDA and SLPR.  The Linden Concerts are sponsored by the Linden DDA and SLPR.   For a full schedule of concert performers, please visit SLPR online at www.slpr.net.Concerts are a great way to enjoy summer with family and friends.   Bring your chairs, lawn blankets, and a picnic to the downtown area.  Make memories this summer and enjoy life’s music!
