We love summer here at SLPR. We especially love summer dance classes. We get to break out of the normal dance schedule and try a variety of new classes and meet new faces over the summer months (we love seeing familiar dance faces too!) Our studio is air-conditioned and comfortable during the summer heat. Whether your child has danced for years, or if they are just starting out, there is a class for everyone.Kicking off the Summer Dance Camps is our “American Dance Camp.” This camp will revolve around celebrating America’s birthday with themed Americana dances. Princess dance classes are always fun too! SLPR is offering Princess Ballet and Tap this summer, as well as Princess Dance Camp. Dress in your favorite princess attire, and join us as we twirl to princess music. We are have a very popular hip hop class, as well as a Pom-Pom Party class. These two classes are high energy, upbeat music, and loads of fun. For children who love to dance AND love to do crafts, we also have a Fairy Dance Camp. In August, we will also be hosting our Dance Try It Camp. This camp is a great way to help children decide what type of dance they like best. Children can try them all, and be ready to decide on the type of fall dance classes they would like to take. For the sweet little two year olds, who melt our hearts with their adorableness…we have classes for them too! Creative Motions classes are twice weekly in June, and then once a week in July. We also have a Creative Motions Camp in August. SLPR Dance also host birthday parties! It is a great way to keep children laughing and smiling while celebrating their birthday with friends and family. (Did we mention that the studio is also air-conditioned? Twirl on over and register for a camp or class today with Southern Lakes Parks & Recreation! We also have online registration available at www.slpr.net. Move and groove with SLPR this summer.
