Let it snow, let it snow….let is snow — at least on February 11th! SLPR is ready for snow to hit the ground this year, as we are very excited about the new upcoming Snow Graffiti Contest! This is a brand new special event, geared for children ages 7-10 years old. It is an art show in the snow of sorts – where participants will be judged on their snow creativity. Each participant will be given an area in the snow to create their very own magical masterpiece. Participants can bring any supplies they deem necessary to create their work of art. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Pre-registration is required, so please register early to ensure your spot.
If the snow and cold don’t quite thrill you, the hallways of Fenton High School are open this winter for Indoor Walking. Those wishing to participate simply need to stop at the SLPR office to pick up their walking badge. For safety and security, walking badges are required. Walking takes place Monday through Thursdays, 6pm to 8pm. For more detailed information of dates and times, please visit the SLPR website at www.slpr.net
