It’s just around the corner, June 16th thru June 18th at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). NASCAR makes its first stop in the Irish Hills at the circuit’s fastest track. The Firekeeper’s Casino 400 is set to go with a 3 pm start time. MIS is not just our home track, it’s the home track for Ford and Chevrolet. With both manufacturer’s corporate offices located in the greater Detroit area, MIS is special. Every team, every driver wants to win at Michigan. You want to own your own backyard!

Michigan International Speedway has a reputation for being a fan favorite. This year will be no exception with a host of activities going on at the track all weekend. Fans love stage racing! Restarts at MIS are always exciting. The introduction of stage racing at NASCAR events means more restarts and exciting sprints for championship points. Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race features two 60 lap stages and an 80-lap sprint to the checkered flag. The NASCAR XFINITY Series runs in two 30 lap stages with a 65-lap run to the finish.
