On a perfect late summer afternoon, Lasco Ford held their annual employee appreciation picnic at Spicer Orchards in Hartland. Employees with their families gathered in one of the orchards buildings set up with tables and chairs. Baked and BBQ chicken, pasta and garlic bread provided the main course. Complimented by salads and desserts brought to share. Spicer’s apple cider and cinnamon donuts topped off the meal.
Everyone socialized, children played on bounce houses and enjoyed various activities around the playground. A number of employees were recognized for their tenure with the dealership that has served the Fenton community and Southeastern Michigan for the past 35 years. Matt and Jay Lasco awarded five-year anniversary plaques to Brandon Beebe, Kelly Glynn, R.J. Spraggins, and Paul Zaagman. Two employees, J.R. Frappier and Jeff Hanes were celebrated for their 10-year anniversaries.
Kelsey Riley received the Lasco Ford Employee of the Year Award in recognition of her dedication to the company and its staff. Voted the honor by her fellow employees, Kelsey was congratulated and awarded a gift certificate to accompany the honor.
