Christmas is a time for friends and family to gather together, and celebrate the season. Holiday parties large and small give us the opportunity to reminisce about the previous year. They also afford us the chance to look forward to the coming New Year. Locally owned automobile dealer Lasco Ford and their family of employees gathered for just such an event at the Fenton Winery and Brewery.
Founded in 2007, the Fenton Winery & Brewery is an award-winning and innovative microbrewery and Winery located on the north end of Fenton, MI. There is a taproom open to the public 6 days a week. A sprawling 1.25 acre park-like Wine and Beer Garden. A full-service banquet hall and a retail store for carry-out and homebrewing supplies. Fenton Winery & Brewery strives to strike a balance, brewing both wine and beer with equal intensity.
According to Matt Lasco, Vice President of Lasco Ford. “This is our third year having the Fenton Winery & Brewery host our holiday get-together. It’s important to us that we support the businesses in our community where we work and live. We treat our hard-working employees often throughout the year with lunches from local eateries. This event allows them to share a special evening with their spouse or a guest and socialize with our entire dealership family.”
Partygoers enjoy Craft Beers and in-house specialty Wines produced by owners Matt and Ginny Sherrow. Along with a banquet of delicious appetizers and hand-tossed pizza from the Taproom kitchen. Jeremy St. John and his guitar provided the music for the evening as couples danced and sang along with their favorite tunes.
Smiling Faces
The highlight of the evening? A door prize raffle rewarded those in attendance with gift cards, restaurant vouchers, merchandise and shopping certificates. Vice President Jay Lasco commented on the gift giving. “We have a large network of associates we do business with that. These businesses show their appreciation by providing us with an array of nice gifts that we pass on to our family of employees. We are fortunate to have such great associations with local companies that provide products and services to help us take care of our customers.”
Some of the local merchants that provide support include: Ally Bank, All Shine Auto Detailing, BG Products, and Brad Boyer Professional Services, Dort Federal Credit Union, and Total Benefits.
