The much-anticipated opening of the new Starbucks on Owen Road in Fenton is now a reality. Located on the site of the old Pizza Hut and Shoney’s restaurants on Owen Road just west of U.S. Highway 23. The address is 3401 Owen Rd Ste 100. Starbucks is the easternmost suite of the complex so as to offer the convenience of a drive-thru on the side of the building.
Inside the coffeehouse where you order and pick-up your beverage of choice is a sparkling clean and modern counter. A glass case next to the register holds a number of enticing pastry treats to enjoy with your favorite coffee, tea, or espresso. The staff is cheery and friendly, making you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. Manager Kelly Stafford is excited about the new store and anxious for the community to stop by and visit the new Starbucks location.
The interior of the building suite offers a wide open space with tall ceilings giving the feeling of uncluttered comfort. Ample seating provides guests with a place to relax and sip their Latte or Frappuccino while reading a newspaper or carrying on a conversation.

Work continues on the suites adjacent to the new Starbucks. The Lasco Press has learned that the storefront next to Starbucks will be occupied by a Verizon Wireless store. Additionally, the center suite in the building will house a SportClips Haircut Salon. The developer, CMP Real Estate Group, is currently soliciting additional tenants to fill the remainder of the complex. It would be great to see some additional food offerings move into the available space. The location offers a convenient location that any business could benefit from.
