The 3rd Annual Flannel and Furs Fundraiser is just a week away. Scheduled for Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at the Fenton Winery and Brewery. This party is a highlight of the winter season in Fenton.

Dress up in Flannel or Furs and prepare to have fun. Last years event was a huge success.

The schedule of activities for the evening is as follows.

6 p.m. Cocktails & Silent Auction Begins
6:30 p.m. Heavy Hors d’Oeuvres
Aperitifs, Dessert & S’mores Bar
9 p.m. Grand Prize Drawing

The silent auction includes gift cards and gift baskets donated by local businesses. Bidding is conducted online during the event. A fabulous Grand Prize donated by Sawyer Jewelers will be given away in a raffle drawing at the end of the evening.

The funds raised from this event will support the Southern Lakes Pathways Initiative, 150 S. Leroy Street, Fenton, Michigan 48430. Southern Lakes Pathways Initiative is a ballot question committee, formed under the provisions of the Michigan Campaign Finance Act, to support a millage proposal by the Southern Lakes Parks and Recreation for the May 2019 election. All expenses for this event are paid for with regulated funds by the Initiative.

Founded in 2007, the Fenton Winery & Brewery is an award-winning and innovative microbrewery and Winery located on the north end of Fenton, MI. There is a taproom open to the public 6 days a week, a sprawling 1.25 acre park-like Wine and Beer Garden, a full-service banquet hall and a retail store for carry-out. Fenton Winery & Brewery strives to strike a balance, brewing both wine and beer with equal intensity.

Matt and Ginny Sherrow, both born and raised in Waterford, Michigan, have lived in the Fenton area for more than 13 years, and have truly enjoyed becoming a part of the Fenton business community. Matt and Ginny have two sons, Joshua and Kyle.
