Our corporate benefactor was Moe Shamon from Ally Financial. Ally is the official finance provider for Mitsubishi Motors in the United States. The Grand Blanc area also knows Ally Financial for their sponsorship of the Ally Challenge Golf Tournament at Warwick Hills.
Moe works with Grand Blanc Mitsubishi to help them acquire financing for vehicle purchasers. The high volume of business Grand Blanc Mitsubishi does with Ally Financial allows them to provide credit even to individuals who have had credit challenges in the past.
Little Caesars Arena, Motor City Casino Club
Our outing to Little Caesars Arena started with a free parking pass in the garage directly adjacent to the stadium. Tickets to the Motor City Casino Club allowed us entrance to a large food court directly behind our seats. The Club seats are in the lower bowl, sections 108, 109, and 110. Premium center ice sections of the arena.
The food was very good. Not your standard sports stadium fare. Roast pork, scallops, chicken over rice, and of course Caesar’s Salad were just a few of the offerings. Soda, popcorn, potato chips, sweet treats, and ice cream were available to grab and take to your seat. All free with your ticket. Mixed drinks are available for an upcharge to those who enjoy an adult beverage.
The Game
Club viewers can sit in the food court and watch the game on TV. Entrance to arena seating is directly adjacent to the guest hosting area to watch the action live. The Red Wings hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning, the top team in the National Hockey League.
Out to a 3-1 lead through the end of the 2nd period, it looked like Detroit might break a 14-game losing streak to Tampa. But, in the 3rd period, the high scoring Lightning lit the lamp 4 times and left town with a 5-4 comeback win.
