America’s Got Talent is a hugely popular Summertime television show on the NBC Network. The Lasco Press has reported on some of the outstanding acts appearing on the show and highlighted the local talent that has occasionally made appearances. This year’s show brought us a combination of those two things in a single act.

If you have not seen the remarkable performance of the Detroit Youth Choir, here is their presentation during the audition rounds of the show.

The act was so well received by the audience and the show’s judges that host Terry Crews used his (once per season) Golden Buzzer award to move the choir directly to the show’s live elimination performance rounds, eliminating the need to compete in additional preliminaries.
