It was just over a year ago that it was announced the abandoned K-Mart property would be developed into a multi-store retail complex.
Construction has progressed well and the facade of the site on Silver Parkway is almost complete.
Last month the first store opened its doors. Five Below markets to a specific audience and it seems to be working. One of the Fenton store managers, Chris, said “Things have been going good since we opened, business is great. Customers seem to like the selection of products we have to offer.”

The T. J. Maxx store is nearing completion. The sign is hung, the interior build-out is complete and staff is assembling display racks in preparation for the merchandise to arrive.

There are additional stores set to fill out the complex. The stylish and comfortable shoe retailer, Skechers, will be a welcome expansion. Along with Michaels, the arts, crafts, and creativity warehouse. Fenton is gaining two more popular retailers that are sure to be crowd-pleasing additions to the community.
