The Scoop of Fenton is just that. A place that serves scoops of ice cream and doubles as a coffee shop.
The former home of A Joyful Noise Music Studio at 111 W. Shiawassee Ave. is currently under renovation and transformation into “The Scoop.”
There is still a ways to go on the project, we were told to look for a Spring 2020 opening.
A Joyful Noise Music Studio has moved to their new location at 17045 Silver Pkwy on the west side of Fenton.
Silver Parkway Project
Just a short distance down Silver Parkway another store is getting ready to open on the old K-Mart site.
Skechers shoes have their sign up and shelving is being installed.
It won’t be long now before you can get the popular sneakers here locally.
Hot Food
Everyone is watching the Starbuck’s plaza on Owen Road, anticipating the opening of the Thai House Bistro.
Yes, they have their sign up and the interior buildout is coming along.
No firm opening date yet, but it won’t be too much longer.
Linden News
Our neighbors to the west, Linden, have some new construction of their own going on. Dr. Wax Orthodonics new building is taking shape on the corner of Broad and Bridge Streets
Additional tenants are expected to occupy the two-story building. It’s too early to project a completion date. But, we will be watching.
