Early Winter Blast to Chill Fenton This Week

No, it’s not the dead of winter yet, it’s just going to feel like it this week in Fenton. In what could be a record-breaking cold snap for November, temperatures are expected to fall into the single digits early in the week.

According to the National Weather Service(NWS) the forecast for Fenton on Veterans Day, November 11th is Snow with a High near 29. North wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of around 3 inches.

Monday Night: Snow showers likely before 1 am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15. North wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Then Tuesday the outlook calls for a frigid day with lows dropping to record levels. Again according to the NWS  the day starts: Mostly sunny, with a high near 24. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 8. West northwest wind 9 to 14 mph becoming light west in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday is another frigid day with a forecast of: Partly sunny, with a high near 25.

Wednesday Night: A chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 21. The chance of precipitation is 50%.
