Smile Partners USA, a network of community dental practices, will be providing emergency dental services across 20 offices throughout southeast Michigan. While many businesses and organizations across the country have shut down or curtailed operations as part of the precautions for COVID-19 (coronavirus), dental emergency care is considered an essential service. The collection of neighborhood practices within the Smile Partners USA network will continue to provide emergency services to help the community during this pandemic in an effort to alleviate unnecessary emergency room traffic at area hospitals.

The practices of Smile Partners USA, following the advice and guidance from the CDC, World Health Organization and the American Dental Association, are regularly cleaning and sterilizing their buildings and equipment to allow their practices to remain open and provide emergency dental care for the community.
Due to the closure of many dental practices, area hospital emergency rooms have had to unnecessarily treat patients with dental emergencies. It is Smile Partners USA’s goal to alleviate this unnecessary burden on hospitals so their doctors can focus on providing care to those with medical emergencies, including COVID-19. As a result, Smile Partners USA, and its network of highly qualified dentists and dental teams, will remain open and available to treat patients with dental emergencies.
These emergency services are available to anyone in the community, so people in need do not need to be a current patient with their practice. The company accepts most major dental insurance plans and offers flexible financing and payment options. In addition, through the month of April, we will offer free exams and x-rays for those individuals who have lost their insurance or have limited financial resources.
