With the easing of pandemic restrictions, many businesses are reopening and inviting guests to visit their facilities. National and State officials have published recommendations for preparing buildings and employees to receive these customers in a virus-safe manner.

The Lasco Auto Group instituted strict cleaning protocols beginning with their service and parts departments as specific facilities stayed open to provide emergency services to first responders and essential workers. Employee training emphasized proper methods of sanitizing customer vehicles as remote deliveries came online for new and used vehicle sales.

“We have stayed one step ahead of the safety curve as our businesses have begun to ramp up,” said Jay Lasco, Vice President. “We are now ready to open all of our facilities to accommodate customers automotive needs and we look forward to welcoming our guests and friends back.”

The newest dealership in the Lasco Auto Group, Waterford Mitsubishi, was forced to close with the onset of the COVID-19 crisis. Sales efforts were the first to reopen and now parts and service departments are once again fully operational.

Customers can schedule appointments and drive-up services are available. Sales incentives offer incredible deals with the Lasco Stimulus Package just extended into June providing “never heard of before” trade-in and financing offers.

What to Expect on Your Visit

It’s understandable that after months of isolation some people may feel insecure about venturing out. Waterford Mitsubishi wants you to know what to expect when visiting their showroom and service department on 5900 Highland Road (M-59) in Waterford.

When you visit the showroom partitions exist between work stations. Desks between company representatives and customers maintain a safe distance for personal interaction. Facemasks protect employees and guests. Reusable items like phones, pens, and displays are sanitized after use. Test drive vehicles are disinfected prior to being returned to inventory.

Parts and Service Departments

Service counters are wiped down between customers. Vehicles presented for service are sanitized prior to entering the shop and again before being returned return to the owner. Parts containers are wiped down before delivery to the buyer. Daily specials offer discounts on seasonal and common maintenance services.

Jay Lasco added. “We take the safety of our customers and our employees seriously. While we wish to offer guests an experience that is as close to normal as possible, we also want to make sure we protect the health and wellness of everyone who enters one of our facilities.”

Life is slowly returning to normal, and everyone is thankful for that. We all have learned to be more aware of our personal space and doing business with those who respect that is a priority for most of us.
