Fenton, MI — July 3, 2020
It’s Hot! Temperatures in the 90s have July off to an extremely warm start in Michigan and Summer is just underway.
There is nothing more refreshing on a steamy afternoon than a frosty cold cup of ice cream. If you haven’t heard yet, there is a new creamery in town serving hand-scooped dips of your favorite flavors. The Scoop of Fenton is located at 111 West Shiawassee, right next to The Laundry in downtown.

Converted from a quaint old home, the porch of The Scoop servers as a gathering point to sit and enjoy a frozen treat. The interior features a long ice cream bar with the buckets of various flavors displayed under glass.

A small countertop provides a prep area for creating special concoctions. Hand-dipped milkshakes with extravagant toppings are a Scoop Specialty.

Just adjacent to the serving area is a small room decorated in a light airy mood offering an indoor eating area.

Out the back entrance of The Scoop is a large patio with table and chairs suitable to have a party.

Sugar cones, waffle cones, or try a 15oz cup of ice cream with themed toppings.

Hours are Mon – Thurs: 8 am – 9 pm and Fri – Sun: 8 am – 10 pm. Cadillac Coffee is served all day, mornings are a great time to stop in and enjoy a cup, maybe choose a cappuccino or a latte.
Anytime is a good time for ice cream, the difficult part is deciding which of The Scoops delicious treats to try.
