Music in the Heart of the City Announces 2020-2021 Schedule

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Flint, MI — August 30, 2020

Music in the Heart of the City carries on St. Paul’s tradition of excellence in diverse musical offerings in downtown Flint. The schedule for 2020-2021 features five concerts scheduled for dates this fall and into the new year.

All patrons are required to wear a mask and are asked to enter through the garden door off of Saginaw Street.  Seats will be marked for social distancing. Admission: $10 for adults; $5 for students

The first event is scheduled for Sunday, September 27th at 4 pm and is entitled Opera Arias for Bass.

The program consists of arias from major operas and they will be performed by Joseph Baunoch and Daniel Ewert.

Baunoch trained as an apprentice artist with Toledo Opera and Dicapo Opera Theater. He has performed in over 50 different operas and has performed with Toledo Opera, New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera, and the Dicapo Opera Theater.

Ewart has sung a wide variety of roles. Most recently he sang Horace Tabor in The Ballad of Baby Doe with Toledo Opera. Previous to this he performed Danciaro in Carmen with Prelude to Performance in Manhattan.
