Fenton, MI — November 12, 2020
The Fenton and Linden Regional Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 100 years of service to our community. An important and effective part of the Chamber’s work is performed by the volunteers on the Ambassador’s Committee.
“The Ambassadors consist of a group of Chamber Members that volunteer their time and talents to the Chamber and outreach to new and potential members. This active and energetic group meets once a month to share ideas and provide support for business growth and Chamber member retention. They also provide volunteer support at all of the Chamber programs.”
Annually the Chamber board recognizes the efforts of these individuals by selecting an Ambassador of the Year. The 2020 recipient of this prestigious award is Katelyn Couturier of Lasco Ford.
Katie is the Corporate Assistant at the auto dealer located a 2525 Owen Road in Fenton. In her nearly four years at Lasco Ford, she has participated in numerous Chamber events. She also heads the dealership’s community outreach and charitable causes like the Ford Drive 4 UR School programs.
“Katie is a valuable part of the Lasco Ford family. Her tireless efforts on behalf of Lasco Ford and the Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Fenton and Linden communities are highly appreciated. We are proud to have her as a member of our team,” said Lasco Ford Vice President Matt Lasco.
When asked about her responsibilities, Katie responded. “I love my job! The Lasco’s are great people to work for. Their commitment to the community makes serving as an Ambassador a real pleasure. Meeting new people and working with the city’s great leadership is rewarding and fun. I am so thankful for this opportunity and am humbled by the recognition of the Chamber with this award.
