The Big Ten Conference has announced the matchups for Champions Week to be played this Friday and Saturday. The Conference Championship game between Ohio State and Northwestern will be played at Ryan Field in Evanston, IL, Saturday, Dec. 19 at noon ET.
Michigan and Michigan State will both play in primetime on Saturday evening. The Wolverines will travel to take on Iowa, Saturday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. ET. While the Spartans will also be on the road against Maryland, Saturday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The remainder of the schedule is as follows:
- Nebraska @ Rutgers Friday, Dec. 18 at 4 p.m. ET
- Purdue @ Indiana Friday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET
- Minnesota @ Wisconsin Saturday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m. ET
- Illinois @ Penn State Saturday, Dec. 19 at 5:30 p.m. ET
Purdue vs Indiana and Minnesota vs Wisconsin are rivalry games that were canceled previously due to COVID outbreaks within some of the school’s football programs. The other games feature schools from opposite divisions as was the original intent of the extra season-ending games.
