Ada Michigan native Ryan Gallagher, of Team Kelly, was almost out of The Voice after losing his Battle with Marisa Corvo. Kelly Clarkson used her only save to rescue Ryan from elimination.
Last Tuesday Ryan competed with the other three saved singers in a 4-way elimination Knockout. The winner to be determined by a fan vote and announced on this week’s Monday show. Gallagher’s rendition of Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye” was spectacular and he was deemed to be the clear favorite to be the 17th singer to compete in the live shows.
Unfortunately, Ryan was asked to leave the competition. Sources say he broke COVID protocols and was released to ensure the safety of the show’s participants. Earlier it was reported that members of Ryan’s family had contracted the virus and were undergoing treatment. No further details were released.
Not the best way to bow out, we hope Gallagher and his family overcome the pandemic issues they have encountered.
