The US National Weather Service of Detroit / Pontiac Michigan has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Fenton, Michigan. Forecast snowfall accumulations of 6 to 9 inches are now predicted from a path stretching from Howell to Bad Axe. Expect the snow to start to fall in the Fenton area around 7-10pm and intensity peaks shortly after Midnight.
The storm will move into the area late Monday evening and continuing through Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning commutes could be significantly impacted so be sure to plan your drive and take extra precaution on the roads. Temperatures in the teens will make it more difficult for the road treatments to clear the snow and ice.
