Fenton, MI — February 13, 2021
On February 18 and March 25, the City of Fenton Arts & Culture Commission’s Cabin Fever series will present a free, virtual concert featuring local musicians Pat Parker and Paul Scheller. The concert will be available to watch live at Facebook.com/FentonMichigan from 7 – 8:00 pm
“In light of health and safety concerns associated with COVID-19, our cultural events
will be held virtual until further notice,” said Pat Lockwood, Mayor Pro Tem and
Commission Chair. “Although we would much rather enjoy an evening of music
downtown with friends and neighbors, we are excited to share some live music with the
community.”
“This year we’re partnering with the Fenton High School’s Advanced Video Production
Program and the Fenton Village Players,” added Cabin Fever Producer & Commission
Board Member Eric Szczepanski. “We’re glad to have them on board to help co-produce the virtual experience and provide video production support.”
Performing on Thursday, February 18 is Pat Parker Music. “My tunes range from ’60s
pop, rock, and Motown to 70’s singer-songwriters and contemporary Nashville,” said Pat
Parker. “A few of my favorites to cover are Chapin, Croce, Dylan, Taylor, Buffett,
Springsteen, CCR, Denver, Eagles, Isbell, Stapleton, Burr, the Monkees, and maybe an
original.”

Performing on Thursday, March 25 is Smooth Sax Sounds with Paul Scheller on
saxophones. Joining Paul is sultry vocalist Stina B. Together they bring a balance of
smooth jazz with pop, rock, and contemporary country songs with covers by Kenny G,
Dave Koz, Euge Groove, Richard Elliot, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Maroon 5, and
others.

Cabin Fever is sponsored by the City of Fenton Downtown Development Authority,
Fenton Community and Cultural Center, and by a matching-grant from Share Art
Genesee funded by the Genesee County Arts, Education, and Cultural Millage.
Cabin Fever will broadcast live on the City of Fenton’s Facebook page at
www.Facebook.com/FentonMichigan. A personal Facebook account is not required to
view the live broadcast.
