Michigan did what tournament number one seeds are supposed to do, dominate their opponent and advance to the next round.

The Wolverines jumped all over Texas Southern to take a 42-24 lead at halftime. Then finished up business in the 2nd half for an 82-66 victory over the outmanned Tigers.
Michigan will now take on the 8th seeded LSU Tigers who eliminated St. Bonaventure 76-61.
The Big 10 Conference factored in two of the biggest upsets of the Tournament’s 1st Round. The 2nd seeded Ohio State Buckeyes lost their opening round matchup against 15 seed Oral Roberts University 75-72. The 4th seeded Purdue Boilermakers fell to 13 seed North Texas 78-69.
