The 20th season of NBC’s hit singing competition, “The Voice,” concluded last night with the announcement of the fan vote winner. Cam Anthony, the 19-year old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania earned the title. Anthony was a member of Blake Shelton’s team, it was the 8th win in 10 years for Coach Shelton.
All of Michigan was cheering on Rachel Mac, the Romeo teenager with the cute dimples that won our hearts as she sang her way through the competition. Rachel finished 4th in the final voting. She performed a soulful rendition of Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance.” Rachel then showed her voice versatility belting out a version of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” that rivaled the Stevie Nicks original.
“Rachel, we will be watching your career progress.” No doubt we have not heard the last from this incredible talent. Best wishes for the future.
