The infield at Michigan International Speedway was party central Saturday night as NASCAR Fans hauled their campers through the Irish Hills and into MIS setting up for the typical wild weekend nights that accompany daytime racing events.
Bands played, fireworks exploded, food was cooked, adult beverages were consumed, Detroit Lions football played on big-screen TVs, and everyone dressed the part as the hot summer night festival of fun finally returned to NASCAR’s most entertaining track.

Turns 3 and 4 are late-night, don’t give up until you have had as much fun as possible, camping spots. Turns 1 and 2 are more family-oriented.
The outlaying campgrounds are like another RV and Tent park. Except they are located next to some of the best racing on the NASCAR circuit each year.
