Grand Blanc, MI — September 16, 2021

The New Century Chorale is preparing for its 28th season of bringing beautiful choral music to the community. The chorale’s theme for the year is “Together in Song” as they celebrate the exit from the Covid silence.

Their first concert of the season entitled “Songs from Silence” will be held Saturday, October 23 at 7 PM at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 9020 South Saginaw Rd, Grand Blanc, MI.

The program will include songs that relate to breaking the silence of the past 18 months – The Awakening and Song of My Heart. It will also honor all those who have died during the pandemic.

Charity Event

The concert will benefit the Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties. This comprehensive health and human services agency provides counseling, meal programs, housing programs, foster care, and many other services to the community. A portion of ticket sales and a free-will offering will be donated to the charity. Tickets are $12 at the door (masks are required) and the concert will also be live-streamed.
