Michigan International Speedway, Brooklyn, MI — December 2, 2021
The season of giving at Michigan International Speedway begins this weekend with the 13th annual MIS Cares Charity Track & Toy Drive.
Guests are being asked to donate a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy to help the local community. Participants will be allowed to drive their personal vehicle on the famous two-mile race track. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.
All food donations will go to Brooklyn Food Pantry and St. Mary’s of Good Counsel Food Pantry (in Adrian). Toys will be donated to Toys for Tots in Jackson County and Lenawee County.
“The annual Track & Toy Drive is one of the most rewarding events we host,” said MIS President Joe Fowler. “It’s important to all of us at MIS that we give back to our local community and we are grateful to play a small part in helping our neighbors this holiday season.”

Guests can access the event via two US-12 entrances: those coming from the east should use Gate 8; guests coming from the west should use the Lot 10 main entrance. If inclement weather prevents driving on the race track, a make-up date will be scheduled in the Spring.
