Delicious hot chocolate is the perfect drink to warm up a cold winter day. If you are looking for a unique experience this weekend, a drive to Canterbury Village in Lake Orion will provide an opportunity to enjoy the tasty treat with a variety of recipes.

Canterbury Cocoa Crawl

The Canterbury Village in Lake Orion will host the Canterbury Cocoa Crawl on Saturday, January 29th from 11 AM to 4 PM. Experience the quaint ambiance of Canterbury Village as you visit the shops and boutiques throughout and sample various cocoas. There is nothing better than the rich flavor of a warm handcrafted hot cocoa! Each shop will feature its own unique chocolate-inspired creation for attendees to sample.

There will be plenty of sweet combinations for the entire family to enjoy and even some cocoa cocktails for the adults to partake of at The C-Pub. The Shops are also competing for the Best Cocoa Award, which will be voted on by all attendees. During the Canterbury Cocoa Crawl children can also mingle with some of their favorite costume characters, enjoy music, and more.

About Canterbury Village

Canterbury Village located in Lake Orion is a designated historic landmark in the State of Michigan and has been owned and operated by the Aldridge family since 1993. It extends over 21 acres on what was once part of the old Scripps Farm and formerly Wildwood Farms. The original Wildwood Farm buildings have all been carefully restored while preserving an important chapter in Michigan’s history.

Canterbury Village is home to 14 specialty and boutique shops with many distinctive features, Canterbury Castle Restaurant and Banquet Facility, The C-Pub Bar and Grill, and Michigan Market Place, featuring handmade and artist-designed products all Made in Michigan.

Yates Cider Mill, another Michigan-owned company, is located at Canterbury Village and open all year round, Fright Village and WTF Speakeasy are scheduled to open in 2022. Canterbury Village is also host to some of the largest annual events in Southeast Michigan.
