Fenton Charity Poker Tournament Set for March 3rd

Fenton, MI — February 24, 2022

The City of Fenton and poker have a long history together. As the story goes, the name of the town came about as the result of a poker game. Whether or not the legend is true it makes for fun verbal history.

On March 3rd an important poker game is convening at the Fenton Hotel, Tavern, and Grille as they host the Fenton Education Foundation Charity Tournament. Join us as The Lasco Press, Lasco Ford, and Lasco Real Estate Group help to sponsor this fundraiser that supports teacher’s grants that go directly into the classrooms of our kids.


For a donation of $100, you can reserve a seat in the tournament and bring a guest to enjoy the pre-tournament party at the Fenton Hotel, Tavern, and Grille. The winner gets to rename Leroy Street in their honor for one year! In addition, cash prizes are paid for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on the number of entries.

Only 125 seats are available, help us pack out the field for a worthy cause. Doors open at 5 pm and the tournament begins dealing at 6:30 pm. The Fenton Hotel is located in Downtown Fenton at 302 N. Leroy Street.
