On Sunday, February 27 at 4 PM, Music in the Heart of the City at Flint’s St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will be presenting a concert of resplendent organ music. The program will be presented by Thomas Gouwens. Thomas has played all over the world, including the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris France. He has been The Chapter Dean (Chicago) of the American Guild of Organists.

Gouwens’ program will include works from Tournemire, Bach, R. Vaughan Williams, Dupre`, Durufle`, and Vierne. With over 80 ranks of pipes, the Dalton Memorial Organ at St. Paul’s church will produce wonderful music under his superb musicianship and masterly technique.

Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 for students, Mott Community College and University of Michigan students are free with a valid ID. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 711 Saginaw St, Flint, MI 48502.
