Michigan International Speedway, Brooklyn, MI — August 7, 2022
Race fans are known for the parties they throw at race tracks everywhere. But, especially the party in the infield of Michigan International Speedway the night before a NASCAR race. Camping spaces inside MIS sold out for the first time since 2012, and the attendance for the debut of the Next Gen car brought in the largest crowd at the Speedway since 2016.
As is our tradition, The Lasco Press was there to capture the scene. If you want to be there next year, don’t wait. Camping sites at the Speedway are now on sale for 2023. Follow the link to the Official MIS Camping Website.
Join the Party
That pretty much sums up the weekend at Michigan International Speedway.
It’s not hard to get in the right mood with the right people.
Can’t be a great party without great music.
The preferred mode of transportation in the infield.
How do they get all those people in that tiny camper?
That is a serious game of Ladder Ball, don’t stumble into the middle of that contest on your way back from the bar.
Not even sure you’d want to know what went on there!
