MAKE-A-WISH Michigan Benefits from Lasco Auto Group Promotions

Fenton, MI — October 14, 2020

If you stopped by Lasco Ford in Fenton yesterday or either of the Lasco Mitsubishi stores in Grand Blanc and Waterford, things might have looked a little casual. The dress down was to support a good cause. Employees of the Lasco Auto Group dressed in comfortable, laid-back styles after making a $25 donation to Make-A-Wish Michigan earned them the privilege of wearing informal clothing for the day.

As part of the ongoing Lasco Gives initiative, which this month chose the Michigan charity that “creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.” The dealer group is donating funds for every car sale and every oil change performed at their three stores during the month of October.

At Make-A-Wish, we take our responsibility for the monies donated to our cause very seriously. Over the last five years Make-A-Wish Michigan, on average, has spent 76.6% of every dollar on wish granting and related program expenses, 6.5% of every dollar was spent on management and general costs, and 16.9% was allocated to fundraising.
