NASCAR fans, here is an opportunity you do not want to miss. MIS Cares will host the 14th annual MIS Cares Charity Track and Toy Drive this Saturday, Dec. 3, at Michigan International Speedway.

Guests are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy in exchange for the opportunity to drive their personal vehicles around the two-mile MIS race track. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Food donations will go to Brooklyn Food Pantry and St. Mary’s of Good Counsel Food Pantry (in Adrian). Toys will be donated to Toys for Tots in Jackson County and Lenawee County.

Guests can access the event via two US-12 entrances: those coming from the east should use Gate 8, and guests coming from the west should use the Lot 10 main entrance. If inclement weather prevents driving on the race track, a make-up date will be scheduled in the Spring.
