Mitsubishi Motors Rated First in Customer Satisfaction

On top of Mitsubishi’s impressive showing in February’s  J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Vehicle Dependability StudySM (VDS), where the manufacturer placed 6th out of the 31 brands ranked. Mitsubishi Motors North America knocked it out of the park in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study. After posting an impressive 4th place in the 2022 survey, the “Triple Diamond” nameplate ranked 1st in this year’s study just released.

A 30-point increase in Mitsubishi’s score over 2022 resulted in the coveted honor.

In conducting the 2023 CSI Study, J.D. Power received survey responses from 64,248 vehicle owners of 2020 to 2022 model-year vehicles. The company groups customer feedback into five major categories, weighted by importance. The categories include:

  • Service quality (32 percent)
  • Service advisor (19 percent)
  • Vehicle pick-up (19 percent)
  • Service facility (15 percent)
  • Service initiation (15 percent)
