This week on America’s Got Talent, 12-year-old Brynn Cummings from Paw Paw, Michigan, performed to the delight of the studio audience and panel of judges on the popular talent show’s 18th season.
The crowd-pleasing summer replacement series on NBC is produced by Simon Cowell, who also serves as a judge. Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel complete the panel of judges. Terry Crews serves as the on-stage and behind-the-scenes host.
Approximately 75,000 acts try and make it through the selection process. But only around 200 get to appear in the televised auditions. The ones who receive at least three yes votes from the judges advance to elimination rounds of the show, with the winner receiving a $1-million annuity as the grand prize.
