NBC’s popular singing competition “The Voice” has completed the “battles” portion of the contest. Battles feature team members being pitted against each other, and their coach determines who advances to the Knockout Rounds.
Three Michigan singers battled, and two survived. Team Reba saw two young ladies, Angelina Nazarian from Ann Arbor, pitted against Alison Albrecht of Novi.

The winner: Allison Albrecht, sending Angelina Nazarian home
“Alison and Angelina did a great job. I was really proud of them,” McEntire said after the Battle ended. “Alison is a wonderful singer. She was a One-Chair turn. I believed in her then, and I still believe in her now.”
Team Gwen featured Chechi Sarai from Pontiac taking on Calla Prejean singing a Lady Gaga song, “I’ll Never Love Again.”

The winner: Chechi Sarai, sending Calla Prejean home
“I just know that Chechi has what it takes to have a flawless performance,” Stefani said after the Battle.
