Motorcycle enthusiasts from all across America converge on Daytona Beach, Florida, for the annual rite of Spring called Bike Week. Activities began Friday with Media Day prior to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Round 8 at Daytona International Speedway. Riders got their first look at the Ricky Carmichael-designed track on the tri-oval portion of the Speedway.

Carmichael, the Five-time DAYTONA Supercross Champion, has designed yet another grueling course for the 17th consecutive year, with the 2024 layout presenting some very different challenges for riders than in years past.

“Ricky continues to amaze year after year with his course creativity, and seeing the layout he’s constructed this time around is no different,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway. “Both riders and fans are going to have a blast with this course and all that action-packed racing it presents. It’s for sure going to be another electrifying DAYTONA Supercross.”

As background, the partnership between Feld Entertainment and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital kicked off in 2017, when Feld Entertainment and Supercross legend Ryan Dungey launched the initiative within the Supercross community. Since then, the partnership has shown steady growth and become synonymous with the sport of Supercross. Last year, the Supercross community surpassed the $1 million fundraising milestone in support of the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: Finding cures. Saving children. This milestone marked seven years of unwavering commitment to St. Jude families.

Ken’s race bike from the 2024 season will be given away to one lucky fan who enters the sweepstakes. The sweepstakes is FREE to enter, and the winner of the motorcycle will be announced at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship finale in Salt Lake City. Supporting sponsors of the race team and the H.E.P Motorsports Group will present a check at the Salt Lake City Final, donating the value of the race bike and more to St. Jude.

Over the course of each season, the Supercross community supports St. Jude through an annual text-to-donate campaign, online auction, and special moments with patients and their families. This year, the Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki team is raising the bar. In collaboration with Supercross and St. Jude, H.E.P Motorsports and Ken Roczen have created the Kick Start For a Cause Sweepstakes and are giving away Ken’s Supercross race bike to raise money in support of the Love Moto Stop Cancer campaign benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
