Ryan and Nikki McDonald have been preparing for the Grand Opening of their new Linden Brewery at 117 N. Bridge St. in downtown Linden for months. A holiday weekend was “on tap.” Folks have some extra free time, and why not check out the new place in town?

It was perfect, well almost. According to their Facebook post the opening was so successful they ran out of food.

The microbrewery has a number of self-styled brews on tap. Check out these examples from their beer menu.

Linden Lite 4.5% (Lite Ale) A tribute to the hardworking folks who appreciate a cold, refreshing brew after a long day. This light-bodied ale offers a crisp and dry finish that’s as straightforward and dependable as the blue-collar spirit.

Linden Bridge ESB 5.2% (Pub Ale) A Quintessential ESB that’s as rich in flavor as it is in heritage. This Amber-hued ale boasts a perfect blend of malty sweetness and earthy hop bitterness, with subtle notes of caramel, toffee, and a hint of fruitness.

Mill Pond Hard Cider 6.3% Our house-made gluten-free hard cider has an apple undertone, and we infuse it with rotating flavors.

And their food menu? We already know it’s great. They sold it all on the Memorial Day weekend.

The Linden Brewery is back open today and fully stocked for the Spring Season. Beat the weekend crowd with a visit to this new addition to our area’s foody favorites.
