The statistics are incredible and growing hourly.

  • 21.3  Million Views

  • 324 Thousand Shares
  • 185 Thousand Saves

TikTok tracking info tells an interesting story. Viewers are predominantly female at 73%, with the 18-35 age group segment dominating the most views. The video has even earned international viral status, with just 50% of its views coming from the U.S.

Who Are These Guys

As they appear in the video from left to right, Jake Camp (Used Car Sales Manager), Josh Green (Salesman), and Jacob Coron (Salesman). Just three ordinary guys who, as the video says, were looking to extend their lunch break. All three work at Lasco Ford, in Fenton, Michigan. While they are dedicated to providing a professional customer shopping experience, none of them has had any vocal musical training. Really?

Who was the mastermind behind the whole comical endeavor? Lasco Ford’s Media Content Creator, Samantha Taylor. “I thought it would make for a fun video. But I never expected it to become such a big deal. We have received comments from several major brands, some celebrities, and even the singer of ‘Stay With Me’, Sam Smith, said he loved the video.”

The video was produced in just two takes, with the only difference being the placement of the camera. Many viewer comments mentioned that working at a place like Lasco Ford would be a great environment, as it looked like fun and had good synergy among co-workers.

How did they keep a straight face? It was impossible to maintain that for longer than the 39 seconds of the recording.

The guys are non-committal about doing a sequel, Samantha says maybe. Everyone else says, Please give us more! Jacob said it was like “catching lightning in a bottle,” but would be happy to give it another try with the right material. Name suggestions are flooding in: J, J, and J, or “The Front Office Boys, or maybe the “Built Ford Tough Boys.”

Family has been supportive. Jake Camp’s aunt was in the hospital when the video went viral, and she overheard nurses discussing it. She asked to see it and proudly declared, “That is my nephew singing.”

Our Vote? Yes, more, more, more.
