Fenton Foodies, this is a great way to start the New Year! Another national food chain has recognized the strong viability of the Fenton restaurant scene and is opening a new location in our area.
Welcome Chipotle!
If you drive West of US Highway 23 on Owen Road, you will see the retail complex at 3401 Owen Road that houses Starbucks Coffee and Verizon Wireless. Pull into the parking lot, turn right, and look for Suite 500. It was formerly the home of 2941 Mediterranean Street Food, which relocated in late 2025.
You will see several placards on the windows of the former restaurant. One of them contains some interesting information. But you might have to get out of the car to read it, no worries. We will show it to you below.
Yes, that is a City of Fenton Building Permit. The description says “INTERIOR REMODEL OF EXISTING RESTAURANT TO A CHIPOTLE.” Can’t get any more official than that.
HOORAY! Soon you will not have to drive to 4485 Miller Road in Flint Township to get those oh-so-tasty “Design Your Own Burritos.”
