Fenton Foodies, good news is in the works. While we do not have all the details to report, the sign is up, and the official announcement has been made on Facebook. We can draw on known facts, you can do some “in-person research”, and we will keep you updated as things progress.
First “The Sign”
If you drive north from Owen Road on Silver Parkway, the road ends at a shopping plaza familiar to most area residents. At 3214 Silver Lake Road, you will find the former location of EL PATO’S MEXICAN FRESH. The sign posted above the restaurant’s door indicates that it will be the location of Fenton’s Don Felipe Mexican Restaurant.
The Official Facebook Announcement
Hello to all the wonderful people who always support our Don Felipe locations! We want to inform you of our new location: Don Felipe #3. We are very excited to arrive in this beautiful city where we will do everything possible to offer you the best Mexican dishes and the best margaritas. The opening will take around 5 to 6 months for remodeling so that when you arrive you feel comfortable, just like at home. See you soon, beautiful people of Fenton, Michigan! We learn that this will be Don Felipe’s third restaurant in Michigan. They are not just throwing up a sign and selling tacos. Owners will take the time to bring the building up their standards and create an atmosphere where guests will be comfortable, can relax, and enjoy the cuisine.
