It was just one year ago that we told you about a new restaurant opening in Flint. Social House opened its doors at 5516 Fenton Road in Flint, in the Fenton Hill Plaza that houses the Secretary of State office.
Social House promised “a casual fine dining experience, cocktails, and craft beer, with private event hosting and convenient next-door takeout from partners, Smash House!”
What a year it has been! Social House delivered on that promise. The Social House Facebook page boasts a 92% approval rating with almost 5,000 followers. Posts showcase their delectable food offerings and scenes from events held at their facility.
Social House is Coming to Fenton
Good news, Fenton Foodies! Social House is opening two new locations in Fenton. While details are being held “close to the vest,” a little birdie told us that a restaurant location will likely move into the former One Eleven spot right on Leroy Street in Downtown Fenton.
A second new addition will feature an “Event Center” for parties, social get-togethers, planned events, and more. Expect an announcement to be made soon as to where you can find what is sure to be a new hot-spot in our city.
More good news! You don’t have to wait to sample the Social House menu offerings. A short jog north to 5516 Fenton Road in Flint will provide a sample of what we can look forward to having right here in the fine food mecca of Southeast Michigan.
