2026 Dow Championship, Midland Country Club, Midland, MI — June 11-14, 2026

The Dow Championship is a unique golf tournament with a format only seen on the LPGA Tour at this one course in the middle of Michigan.

The Dow is a 72-hole stroke-play team event featuring 72 two-woman teams competing in alternating formats: foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball). The tournament format is structured specifically around the four days of play:

  • Rounds 1 & 3 (Foursomes): Played on Thursday and Saturday, teams play one ball and alternate shots until the hole is completed.
  • Rounds 2 & 4 (Four-Ball): Played on Friday and Sunday, both players on a team play their own balls, and the lowest score of the two on each hole counts as the team’s score.
  • The Cut: After the first 36 holes (the completion of round 2), the field is narrowed to the low 33 teams and ties for the weekend. This distinct format is the only official regular-season team-play tournament on the LPGA Tour schedule.
  • In the event of a playoff, the champions will be determined by a hole-by-hole playoff in the foursomes format.
  • The Purse is $3.3 million; the winning team will split $805,382 ($402,691 each).
  • Par and Yardage: 35-35 = 70, 6,301 yards (Par and yardage are subject to change through the start of the tournament).

Each LPGA Member on the winning team will receive the standard two-year winner’s exemption on the LPGA Priority List. CME points and prize money will be official for the purposes of the current-year LPGA Official Money List and Race to the CME Globe Standings.

Rolex Player of the Year, Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year and U.S. Solheim Cup points will not be allocated, and statistics will not be calculated. Rolex Women’s World Rankings Points also will not be allocated. Non-Member win regulations apply to non-Members that are participating in the event.
