It’s that time of the year when the orange barrels are popping up around town. A road work project begins today in the Fenton area that may interrupt your or slow your drive time. Here is a new one to watch for.
The Genesee County Road Commission will begin resurfacing Silver Lake Rd. between McCaslin Lake Rd. and the Linden city limits on Thursday, August 6. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed on Thursday, August 13. The road will be open with flaggers controlling traffic. Motorists should allow additional time to reach their destination.
