    The Concert at 17 Closes Out Friday Fan Fun at The Ally Challenge

    The fun did not stop at the Ally Challenge presented by McLaren with the conclusion of play on Friday. The 17th hole at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club became the center of attention for fans as special events kicked in for the early evening program. The Ultimate Par 3 Showdown featured local PGA golf professionals and competition winners from area golf clubs competing in a closest to the pin contest on Warwick Hills iconic 17th hole.

    The event was hosted by John Cook, retired PGA Tour Professional from the Golf Channel and Flint’s Classic Rock Station 103.9 The Fox morning DJ, Johnny Burke. Cook made a memorable hole-in-one on 17 during the final round of the 2006 Buick Open.

    After the competition the Patriot Parachute Team, based out of San Diego, California, thrilled the crowd with a jump and precision landing on the 17th fairway at Warwick Hills.

    The evening was capped off with a performance buy The Wildflowers, a Tom Petty Tribute Band.

    Fans relaxed and sang along. Children danced, jumped and played, the Beer Garden was hopping, and everyone had a great time.

    Saturday night is the Ally Community Concert featuring Keith Urban. Gates open at 4 pm, the opening act, the Nashville Yacht Club Band lights up the stage at 6:45 pm. Keith Urban fires up the crowd at 8 pm. With the Drone Show following at approximately 10 pm.
